The Multiple Sclerosis Institute at Shepherd
The MS Institute at Shepherd has extensive experience treating people with multiple sclerosis (MS), suspected MS or related disorders. The MS Institute at Shepherd has treated thousands of people with MS using a wide range of neurological and rehabilitative services.
We believe that early and appropriate treatment results in better quality of life for people with MS and may protect against future illness. Our staff of medical professionals work aggressively to slow the progression of the disease.
Treatment options focus on medications, physical rehabilitation (including strength and energy conservation) and experimental therapies. The MS Institute at Shepherd offers comprehensive evaluations, diagnostics, rehabilitation services and treatment options through FDA-approved drugs and new clinical trials.

MS Research
The MS Institute at Shepherd participates in a number of MS research studies and clinical trials. We believe that an emphasis on clinical trials and new clinical treatment investigations means the latest treatments are often available to our clients before they are available elsewhere. In addition, the MS Institute at Shepherd is a leader in the management of the most current medications, multi-drug regimes and MS clinical drug trials.
Affiliations
The MS Institute at Shepherd is a member of the Consortium of MS Centers and the North American Research Committee on Multiple Sclerosis. It is an officially designated treatment facility of the National MS Society, Georgia Chapter and is a partner with Harvard Medical School and other leading academic institutions.
