Press Release:
After getting to know each other via a message board on the Internet, Judith Lynn Nichols and 28 other women with MS formed an online support group. In 1999, their Internet conversations became the basis for Women Living with Multiple Sclerosis.

Now they're back, wiser and wittier than ever, with a second installment that focuses on transcending the effects of MS. Time, energy, and sanity saving techniques abound in this positive, informative book. Topics discussed include the elusive diagnosis, sustaining positive doctor/patient relationships, the latest treatments for MS, tips for choosing and using assistive devices, and preparing effective applications for Social Security disability. The women share their pet peeves with MS, as well as the new talents, hobbies, and interests that have emerged since they have had to change their lives.

The book concludes with moving commentary from the women about making peace with MS and finding ways to nourish their spirits, psyches, and imaginations for satisfying lives beyond MS.
