Multiple sclerosis patients can benefit from expanded services from MSAA

Multiple sclerosis patients can benefit from expanded services from MSAA

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the MS community, please know the Multiple Sclerosis Association of American (MSAA) has implemented several new programmatic changes to increase our availability and support to MS patients and their families across the country. These include:

  • Expanded hours to our toll-free Helpline (800-532-7667) which is staffed by trained and experienced social workers from 8:30 am to 8 pm Eastern, Monday through Friday
  • An online MRI Access Fund application form which also allows for the easy upload of required documents including the MRI order for a cranial or c-spine scan
  •  A COVID-19 hardship waiver to our Cooling, Equipment, and MRI programs for families in financial crisis
  •  Live online webinars to replace our scheduled in-person educational programs with topics addressing wellness care, newly diagnosed, minority populations, etc.

To learn more about these programs and ways MSAA can assist your MS patients, please visit our website at www.MyMSAA.org, or call (800) 532-7667. Thank you for all you do to care and support the MS community! Please stay safe and take care!
