Dr. Howard L. Weiner has just written a new book on brain diseases called The Brain Under Siege: Solving the Mystery of Brain Disease, and How Scientists are Following the Clues to a Cure, which is being published by BenBella books and will come out in October. A docuseries is also being made of the book. The book discusses the 5 major diseases studied at his MS Center in Boston (MS, Alzheimer’s, ALS, Parkinson’s and Brain Tumors.) and likens the disease to a crime scene. The MS chapter is the largest. Congratulations to Dr. Weiner and kudos for his creative work during the past several decades.
